The younger children and I went to Z's riding lesson yesterday. It was so good to be out in the fresh air relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We were greeted by the two exuberant puppies, Dolly and Jackpot, who were delighted to have some company.
K and I thought we would lie peacefully in the shade but Dolly and Jackpot had other ideas! They licked and climbed all over K until she was squealing with laughter for them to stop.
The other horses enjoyed the long grass K fed them. They are majestic creatures!
I had a good giggle at Z washing Beetle. I didn't know you wash a horse with a hosepipe!
These two got into a bit of a rumpus that sent K and I dashing for the safety of the car with Z and his riding instructor laughing at us.
It was a wonderful hour spent in a different environment and was just what we all needed.
