After the grand prix there was another event to attend: Karate year end braai . It was relaxed and fun and good to see the families all enjoying time together.
Kids had a ball in the pool while parents chilled in the shade.
The boys played some soccer .
Awards were given and the kids received their grading certificates. J graded to red 3 last week and is now working towards his brown belt. K graded to purple 2 last week. All in all it has been a good karate year.
Today there was yet another function at the cricket club: 6 a side tournament that hubby took part in, jumping castles, boerewors rolls and plenty of festive fun. Talk about a jam packed weekend!
